Jennifer started training with AKC obedience in 1977 with her first Doberman. With her second Doberman in 1980, she entered the conformation ring and then became involved in schutzhund.
She has trained with various clubs here in the U.S. in Sweden and in Germany. She is the founder of the Washington DC Area Gebrauchshund Club (W.A.G.)
Jennifer has been involved in Frisbee competitions, tracking, herding, agility, fly ball, visiting nursing homes and performing obedience demonstrations. She is a certified elevator for
Therapy Dogs International and the AKC Canine Good Citizenship test. She is an apprentice judge for the American Temperament Test Society. She is also a certified Training Director.
Presently Jennifer is just training schutzhund and serves as WAG president.
