Now if it were a working dog puppy you might want to prescribe bandages and antibiotic ointment, too.  I (dawn) met another gal at a pet store who had a new GSD puppy.  I told her that I suspected she had a pup when I saw all the scratches on her arms.  Those little babies are as cute as can be but not gentle yet.
